Version 1.3 has been released for Android devices, and has been submitted to Apple for approval for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
What's New:
1. The Flashcard Exchange site is now also supported.
2. Add photos to your flashcards.
3. Brand new choices change the look of your flashcards.
The Flashcard Exchange web site is now also supported:
Create your cards using Flashcard Exchange (flashcardexchange.com) and download them to your device. Flashcards with both pictures and audio are supported, however, in this version, you may only have pictures and/or audio on one side of the card.
Now add photos from Flickr to your flashcards. Here's how:
Create your Quizard flashcard as usual. On the reverse side of the flashcard, you will see a button that gives you the option to "Add picture". Choosing this option will access the Flickr photo sharing website where people around the world have uploaded photos to share. Photos uploaded to Flickr are "tagged" with words that describe the picture. These tags are what allow Quizard to present the photos that you will choose for your flashcard. If you don't like the first photos you see, click the "Next" button to see more photos from Flickr.
Brand new choices change the look of your flashcards.
Now you can view your Quizard flashcards in three different formats - Dark, Light, and a simplified Kids version. You can choose each of these versions from the main Quizard screen by selecting the "Choose Skin" button, selecting the skin format you would like to see, and selecting the "Apply" button.
