The calculation for what is being carried is broken.

I have 4 baby chars for farming gems. It says they are carrying 162 items, even though I flagged everything with the 'leave behind' option.

It seems to be counting everything that all my chars are carrying, even though they are not in the party.

I was able to farm 7 to 10 for gems, but it stopped working after my last level up.

John answered my misunderstanding.

I was looking at the Not Carried in the manage equipment menu.
This shows different results than the Select items to carry menu.
