Numerous times over the last several weeks I have cast kominalito only to have a character revived with only 1 hit and -1 con. At first I assumed that either I mistakenly cast koalito or that the character had been stoned and I hadn't noticed. Today I was trying to run up some pudly kobold peasants trying to gain entrance to sami, sage, and ranger guilds. Running them around on lvl 1, several of them died and I am 100 % certain that I did not cast koalito on them. They were not stoned. And nevertheless, they were revived with 1 hit and -1 con. Now unless there is some sort of character saving throw versus full raise going on here, we have a roach in the code. I guess I really will have to stop playing know, because this sort of error is not tolerable. I have 5 or 6 chars down 1-3 con that should not be.

Please fix this and post when it is done.

Actually this is the correct behavior. When you throw a full raise, a die is 'rolled' to determine if you succeed. If it fails, then you automatically get a second shot, but this time it is just a partial raise. If both fail then you are permanently dead. Note that if you didn't get the second shot, you would have been permanently dead instead of losing 1 con point. Note that if you don't want to take the risk of failing raise, you can always use a portal gem before you attempt the raise.

Ok. What an interesting feature. Are both rolls still dependent on the recipient char's con? Cause I have been failing a pretty high % of my initial rolls on some pretty high con chars

Yes, the probability is based only on the con and the full raise is no more likely to succeed than the partial (except for the fact that you get the second chance).

I guess I am either unlucky or the fail shot is pretty high. I keep failing 28 and 30 con raises.
