This may be a silly question and has been answered, but I looked for a topic with it and didnt see one, so, here it is:

I have been goofing off for the past 3 days since I got the game just to get used to it. Earlier today I decided to go ahead into Dungeon Level 2 and check it out. I noticed that to come out, I have to walk all the way back out and I didnt see an item or a spell that would "port" me back and forth faster. Is there not an item or spell or some other way? Just curious. Would hate to keep running back and forth from level 1 to level 2+ over and over only to find out WAY later that I could have been doing it easier lol. Thanks all :)

Well for low level characters, there really is no faster way (although generally there are stairs that will take you up and down 2 levels at a time). However for high level mages and priests, there are spells that can take the party up and down levels. In addition, there are magic items that can transport you up and down levels.

Ya, I found the 2 lvl at a time stairs by mistake today when I used the secret room item thing. Then I found 2 traps back to back. Luckily I didnt lose anyone. Those traps hurt! Anyway, thanks for reply. I have been as far as lvl 3 so far but with my self made party ranging from lvl2 to 6, I thought it a bad idea and left as quickly as I found it.
