Please enable the screen to rotate with the phone. When the charger is plugged in on the xoom and the original android, the socket is on the bottom of the unit. You cannot rest the unit while playing because the cord is in the way. If the game could rotate 180° things would be easier.

It seems like a minor issue but for me it is big, I will not be able to use one of my hands for about a year so being able to rest the droid in something is important.

I am gaining a new level of respect for amputees and others who lose the use of a limb, it is a hell of a lot harder than anyone can imagine. Hopefully, the doctors caught my conition early enough and the surgeries will have worked.but for the next year or so, a 180° rotation would be sweet.

Enough ranting, time to kill and pillage...

I wish it were that easy. In order to allow rotation all the pages have to be reformatted to fit the portrait orientation, and that would be very difficult. The game UI naturally laid out in landscape, but not so in portrait. I am afraid that you are stuck with landscape for the foreseeable future.

Sorry.

Well Android does allow for rotation, but you can't just scale the screen to the new orientation (at least not in this case). The pages would have to be completely re-laid out, and it is not clear how to do that in a reasonable way.

Wait, did he mean 180 degree rotation or 90 degree rotation? 180 is from landscape to landscape.. well, at least on the ipod touch.

You are right, he did ask for 180 degree rotation, and I totally missed that. That might be possible, let me look into it.

I took a look, and it doesn't look good. Reverse Landscape does not appear to be supported until version 2.3. I may possibly be able to add it for devices running 2.3 and beyond, but otherwise I am afraid you will be out of luck.

I did only want 180° so that the power cord would be on the top of the screen and not getting in the way on the bottom.

What version of the Android OS are you running. As I said, it does not look like it is possible in pre 2.3 versions.
