Hi, I bought oubliette and used it on a android system. Now I changed my phone and am wondering how I can transform my characters to the new phone?

I bought TitanumBackup, unfortunately that doesn't work :(

That is a bit of a problem. There is currently no straightforward way of doing that. Do you still have it running on your old phone and can you connect to the internet? If so, then I might be able to transfer your game file over manually. Contact me at oubliette@gabysoft.com, and I will see if I can help you out.

Yes I have my old phne as backup, so my old saves will stay but I just can't play on the run...

To be honest, I don't like "stranger" conecting my phonedatabase... so therefore I prefere, if you say there will be a update sooner or later (hopefully sooner) that makes this option awailable, to wait for the update and meantime no gaming on the run ;) I would then also love to develop my elf ranger :)

But if you say it want happen in the near futer, I will do as you proposed... :/

I really don't know what you mean here, but I would have no intention of 'conecting my phonedatabase', nor would I have any idea how to do that. Still I believe I have a way that could transfer your game to the new phone. If you are interested in giving it a try, contact me at oubliette@gabysoft.com and I will see what I can do.

I do have a new version coming up, but it will be a while before it is ready, and transferring characters is currently not one of it's features.

You are most welcome. I probably need to think about building in some mechanism for transferring characters from older devices for the new version. I will give it some thought.
