i see you posted a new patch with some neat features & bug fixes (memory leak yay! :) ) how long you think it'll take for apple to release the patch to us?

I really don't know. The Apple approval process is something of a black box. The game took about a week to get reviewed and approved. I don't know what the turn around time for updates is.

my ipod shows 1.2 when i search for oubliette but there's no update available, do i re-download the new app (it'll let me) and delete the old one?

Definitely don't delete the old one! That will delete all your characters! Perhaps there is a delay before it shows an update available. Let me try experiment a little and let you know what to do.

I am not sure what to tell you. The only device that I have that has 1.1 installed on it is an iPad. When I go to the app store and search for Oubliette, I see the 1.2 version but it will not let me download it. (It tells me that it is already installed) Perhaps you will have to wait until it tells you that an update is available. I will post a message on the Apple development forums asking for more information.

Whatever you do, do NOT delete the one that is on your device.

Did you try going into the App Store and hitting the update button? That just worked for me with an iPad.

what i did was do a search for oubliette & it let me hit the free button, then the install button, i thought it might just put a second oubliette on my ipod but when i did that it appeared to overrite the old version but thankfully all my characters are still there, so i think i'm good. :)
