One of my characters is paralysed and I can find nothing in the dungeon to heal him, and no amount of resting seems to work.

Can anyone advise me on how I can heal paralysis.

Go to the House Of Healing, that will fix you up (for a price, of course). Later you will probably find items that can cure you and there is a 4th level Cleric spell that can cure.
