Hi all,
I was recently running on level ten when I found an item called a balmung. It said that it's power was auto-kill and it's destruction possibility was 0%, but it won't let me use it. It has great stats, so I gave it to my samurai as a weapon, but I would like to know it's full potential. Have any of you encountered this item?

Thanks, Paladin

This weapon's power is special, you don't need to 'use' it. If you have it equipped as your weapon, you should gain the auto-kill option for any character. If that is not working, let me know and I will take a look.

Thanks, John
I wasn't aware that the weapon's power was used automatically. But what does it do? Does any monster hit die immediateley?

Thanks again, Paladin

The Auto-Kill power basically gives you the same Auto-Kill ability that is innate for the Samurai class. When you swing, you should be presented with and 'Auto-Kill' option. Choosing this option gives you a chance to do double, triple, or total damage to the monster.

In this case, I will switch it over to my lead ranger so that they can also have the STK option. It's got great stats anyway, and is similar to the Axe of Mortokgor. I may also give it to Paladin, but I think it is better to let him have the Holy Sword.

Thanks, Paladin

What a novel idea. Give a weapon to a ranger and have him FIGHT.
