Peasants gain stats rather quickly as they gain lvls.
But will other classes occasionally gain stats as they level up?
I usually forget to check before I rest, but it seems like my lvl 17 sammy has higher str and con than when I started him. maybe it is just a wishful illusion on my part.

All characters have the potential to gain stats when they make levels, and no class is better at it than any other. The thing about peasants is that they gain levels faster than any other class.
